Work

I am so excited for this summer. I can't wait to start work at American Eagle Outfitters. I think that this is perfect because not only will I learn so much about merchandising, but I can offer all of my experience to help the company as well. I think its so smart to have interns come in for the summer because we know college fashion and what college kids want more than anyone else! Yay!

Coming back

So I know I've seriously neglected this blog for a whillllleeeee now but I'm coming back!! I think it will be good to organize all of my events and things on here. Especially now that I'll be interning at American Eagle Outfitters corporate headquarters this summer!! I'm so excited to learn about a major corporation from the inside. I think that the fact that I'm an entrepreneur will really help me have an interesting perspective. So, look forward to that soon!

Unique, Custom Made Clothing by Zoë Damacela

I wanted to post this to show that if you buy a custom made garment, you can literally have anything you want on it. In this example, the lettering is couched onto the garment. That means that those letters are actually string (or yarn or cording) that was stitched onto the fabric. Perhaps you've heard of the band Bright Eyes?

In this example, each fish is made out of burlap, the water is a sheer blue overlay, and the little air bubbles are these really cool blue buttons made from real sea shells. If you're interested in something like this, let me know.
